Alternative Logo and Branding Options
I am working on some alternative branding ideas for this site. I want something simple yet not an eyesore. I’m thinking a green theme would fit nicely into the overall concept.
I consider myself a mediocre graphic designer at best. I have a knack for recognizing excellent design, but when I try to create it myself it rarely comes out the way I envision it in my head before I start.
I am a much stronger reader, writer, and talker. I have to get away from spending my time coding when I really should be writing. That is one of the major things that holds me back. I enjoyed coding at first because I found it slightly challenging, but as soon as I knew what I was doing, I lost interest.
It’s all about capital, though. I have had to bootstrap my way at barely subsistence level since I was 21 years old. I have let multiple amazing opportunities pass me by because I was strapped for cash.
For years, I have put my writing career on hold for multiple reasons, many of which are more psychological than financial. If I could find a partner with an interest in pursuing this project, maybe I wouldn’t have to sell after all. I would be the CEO/CCO and my partner would be the COO/CTO.
I have always been fairly deficient in the networking category. Again, it’s mostly psychological, though, because I have met some amazing people who think I’m one of the most intriguing gals they know. I rarely take their words to heart, though, and maybe that’s part of the problem.
Anyway, I’m digressing now. I will post some samples when they are ready.
